What to expect physically when you come to Big Pine UMC — and who to ask if you need something we have not thought of.

Accessibility

Everyone is welcome here.

We want every person to be able to worship, belong and serve at Big Pine UMC. Here is what to expect, so you can plan ahead. If you need something that is not listed, please ask. We are glad to help.

In our building

  • Step-free access from the parking lot into the sanctuary for worship.
  • Space in the sanctuary for wheelchairs, walkers and scooters. Sit wherever is comfortable for you.
  • A wheelchair-accessible restroom right next to the sanctuary.
  • A gluten-free option at Holy Communion.

The classrooms and fellowship hall across the courtyard have one step up. If that is a barrier for you, let us know and we will help.

Our greeters are happy to help you find a seat, carry something or answer a question. Just ask.

Worship from home

If you cannot be with us in person, every Sunday service streams live on Facebook at 10:00 AM and is saved on our YouTube channel, where captions can be turned on for most videos.
