Plan your visit
Your first Sunday at Big Pine
Here is what to expect when you join us. Questions before you come? We are happy to help.
Traditional worship
An hour of prayer, scripture, preaching and hymns from the United Methodist Hymnal, ending with our sung benediction, “Go Now in Peace.”
Come as you are
Island casual is welcome. Kids are welcome in worship, where parents and children worship together as a family.
Stay for food & fellowship
After worship, join us at 11:00 AM in the Social Hall for food and fellowship. It is the easiest way to get to know us.
Parking & access
There is step-free access from the parking lot into the sanctuary, with a wheelchair-accessible restroom right next to it. The classrooms and fellowship hall across the courtyard have one step up.
Worship from anywhere
Watch live, or catch up later
Every Sunday service streams live at 10:00 AM and is saved so you can watch any time.
Give
Support your church’s work
Your generosity reaches well beyond Sunday morning. Thank you for helping us love our neighbors.
Showers for neighbors without housing, kept open and running every week.
Open doors for recovery, hosting the AA, NA and Al-Anon groups who meet here.
Mission beyond our island, stocking local food pantries, rebuilding after hurricanes through UMCOR, and supporting missionaries around the world.
Our island home
Among the pines, alongside the Key deer
Big Pine Key takes its name from the slash pines that grow across the island. It is also home to the endangered Key deer, the smallest deer in North America.
We count them both among our neighbors. If you are driving to church, please take Key Deer Blvd. slowly. The deer cross at all hours.
